To keep that magic sailing smoothly, we’re looking for a Workflow & AI Automation Engineer to join our crew. This role is all about building the behind-the-scenes systems that power our content engine — using automation, AI, and a love for clever problem-solving. Imagine designing smart workflows that fetch the latest flight and hotel deals, building AI agents that scan the web for emerging travel trends, and crafting tools that help our editors deliver inspiration at lightning speed.

You’ll work closely with our content creators, machine learning experts, and developers to scale our ability to discover and publish the best travel offers — faster and smarter than ever. From crawling dynamic websites to orchestrating APIs and integrating with platforms like Google Sheets or Contentful, this is a hands-on role with real impact.

DUTIES ON DECK

Build and maintain smart automation workflows using n8n and custom scripts that help us discover, process, and deliver the best travel deals at scale
Create and evolve AI agents that track travel trends, crawl the web for fresh deals, and structure the results — all fully automated to support our editorial magic behind the scenes
Develop reliable data crawlers that can handle dynamic websites, normalize content, enrich it with extra details, and feed it into our systems in real time.
Connect and orchestrate external APIs to enhance our deal data, streamline sourcing, and trigger intelligent automation flows.
Collaborate with our Content and Machine Learning teams to structure data in Contentful (our CMS) so it's ready to power AI-driven workflows and content generation
Support and and improve our internal React-based tools, used daily by our content creators across Europe to keep our audience inspired and informed.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously evolve your workflows to keep up with changing websites, new platforms, and the fast-moving world of travel content.

FIRST MISSION YOU’LL OWN: Your first challenge will be to build an AI-powered Deal Research Agent that;

Identifies relevant travel trends based on search and seasonal patterns
Crawls websites to collect fresh deal data
Automatically formats and feeds results into Google Sheets or our CMS

YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE

Proven hands-on experience with n8n or similar workflow tools
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, and building tools that connect APIs and real-time data.
Solid grasp of web crawling and scraping from tricky, ever-changing websites.
Applied experience in AI prompt engineering or building LLM-based tools.
A systems thinker and problem-solver who can own your automations end-to-end — from MVP to monitoring.

EXTRA KNOTS FOR

Experience with Contentful or any other headless CMS.
Building AI agents or LLM-powered tools in production.
A background in platforms with tons of content — like e-commerce, travel, or publishing
