Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support our engineering and development teams with documentation, CAD processing, and technical coordination. This role requires hands-on experience with SolidWorks and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in sheet and tube metal fabrication.
Responsibilities:
Convert technical data across formats such as STEP, DMX, SolidWorks, and PDFs to ensure readiness for manufacturing
Create clear, precise, and accurate documentation including drawings, parts lists, and assembly instructions
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop detailed and compliant manufacturing documents
Generate and maintain necessary paperwork to support the production process
Organize and optimize documentation workflows for efficiency and accuracy
Support technical teams with processing CAD files and maintaining up-to-date documentation across projects
Work closely with the UK-based team to align documentation and production standards
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within documentation and CAD management
Requirements
Proficiency in SolidWorks with experience converting and handling technical drawings
Solid understanding of sheet and tube metal manufacturing processes
Experience reading, interpreting, and producing engineering drawings
Strong background in technical paperwork creation and documentation standards
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
Fluent in English with professional communication skills
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones
Experience with Amada software is a plus
