Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description:

RichardsonRFPD, an Arrow company, is a specialized electronic component distributor providing design engineers with deep technical expertise and localized global design support for the latest new products from the world’s leading suppliers of RF, Wireless, IoT and Power Technologies.

Whether it’s designing in components or engineering complete solutions, our technical sales team provides comprehensive support for customers’ go-to-market strategy, from prototype to production.

We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer based in Poland or Czech to join our Sales team.

Principal Responsibilities

Build and maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and RichardsonRFPD partners creating demand for RichardsonRFPD products.

Responsible for a Sales territory: Poland, Czech and Slovakia with possibility to expand in the future.

  • Initiate and schedule regular customer visits with a focus on providing technical solutions to customer designs from the Richardson RFPD supplier Linecard.
  • Will create and drive opportunities and product selection within their accounts.
  • Utilize distribution/supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales. Build strong relationships with suppliers and their representatives.
  • Managing designs from conception to production, providing all sales support needed including customer visits, supplier visits and engineering services.
  • Maintain and grow customer database and defined vertical market and applications.
  • Provide reports and market knowledge of territory and growth plans.
  • Attending supplier training events to keep up to date on product technologies and road maps.

What are we looking for?

  • 5 years+ of related experience, ideally with a distribution background in the territory defined above.
  • Degree in electronics or related subject
  • Ability to negotiate and to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
  • Fluency in English, and Polish+ / Czech language.
  • A knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle would be an advantage.
