General position summary:
Responsible to utilize sales and organizational skills to develop and maintain business relationships with new clients to provide a wide range of local logistics solutions. Target industry is hospitality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Focus exclusively on new customer acquisition
- Develop a comprehensive market strategy; know current market share in each vertical versus market potential, set specific goals for market share increase
- Optimize CRM to digitally qualify prospects, manage contacts, leverage campaign marketing and orchestrate moving targets through the sales process
- Must own a strategic, finite written list of targets with a high degree of accountability around moving new customer pursuits through the sales process
- Works with sales operations to ensure there are increased hunter profile sales executives in the business; multi-year strategy to increase new business development resources
- Develop highly effective networking strategies
- Works with sales operations to push though leadership to end users and high potential channels in the market
- Must hold at least one leadership position in a high potential trade association
- Develop and orchestrate an annual community outreach and event calendar to drive brand awareness and new business to the company

- Proven track record in business development and new client acquisition.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to position value clearly and confidently.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and skilled in time-blocking and pipeline management.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; three to five years of sales management in a related business to business field, including hiring, managing and measuring sales force; experience in office moving, commercial furniture sales, commercial real estate services or project management is preferred.
Travel:
- Must be able to travel within the market to network and work with potential customers
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
