ActioNet has an opportunity for a Technical Solutions Engineer Senior. 

Location:  Suitland, MD

Salary Range:  75k-128K

  • Support the delivery of IT solutions across complex federal or state government enterprise environments.
    Apply established principles, best practices, and technical expertise to assist in developing effective and reliable solutions.
    Work under general supervision, with results reviewed to ensure they meet program objectives, schedules, and cost targets.
    Engage with internal teams and external customers to provide timely, practical support on technical issues affecting project success.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide hands-on technical support for IT systems, applications, and infrastructure within enterprise environments.
    • Assist in implementing and troubleshooting solutions that align with project goals and compliance requirements.
    • Support ongoing system maintenance, documentation, and updates across various platforms and technologies.
    • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and propose practical solutions.
    • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
    Cloud Support Responsibilities:
    • Assist in assessing cloud requirements and support the execution of cloud adoption plans.
    • Provide technical input on cloud services and tools that align with customer goals.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of major Cloud Service Providers and their core services.
    Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT systems support, solutions implementation, or systems administration.
    • Preferred Certifications:
      • CompTIA Cloud+
      • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

    Preferred Background:
    • Experience supporting federal or state government IT programs.
    • Familiarity with cloud environments, basic cloud architecture, and IT service management practices.
    • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and cross-team collaboration.
