IgniteAction, a joint venture between ActioNet and Ignite has an immediate opening for a an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer with over 8 years of progressive responsibility in cloud infrastructure, data visualization, and IT systems management. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, delivering scalable cloud-based solutions, and streamlining system operations in complex enterprise environments. Adept at turning business requirements into robust technical solutions and known for delivering high-impact results across cloud and data platforms.
Proficient in cloud architecture, project planning, and data integration, with hands-on experience developing and executing technical roadmaps for cloud data pipelines and enterprise-wide systems. Skilled in building data visualizations using tools like Tableau, managing agile delivery cycles, and leading continuous deployment activities across multiple environments. Strong communicator with the ability to align stakeholders, manage priorities, and ensure compliance with technical and organizational standards.
Responsibilites
Led the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide data catalog and standardized cloud data pipeline, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
Developed project roadmaps, technical timelines, and resource allocation plans to support scalable cloud system deployments
Coordinated sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities using Agile methodologies to deliver solutions efficiently
Conducted smoke testing and post-deployment validations to ensure the integrity and performance of cloud-based systems
Prioritized tasks across multiple cloud projects based on impact, complexity, and alignment with organizational goals
Designed and implemented cloud-based dashboards and reports to track system health, performance, and resource utilization
Technical Skills
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Data Visualization: Tableau
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Git
Scripting & Automation: Python, Shell
Agile Delivery, Sprint Management, Release Coordination
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cloud Computing, or a related field
7+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Engineer)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with security standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST)
