Job Title: Outreach Business Development Representative

Location: Remote (Working US Hours)

Salary: R20,000 - R23,000/month + Uncapped Commission

Working Hours: US Hours (To Be Confirmed)

The Role

We are seeking a proactive Outreach Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive our outbound sales efforts. Your main goal is to schedule 5 qualified discovery calls per week for our sales team.

Until that KPI is met, responsibilities include:

  • Add 40 qualified leads daily to Apollo.io
  • Run personalized email and LinkedIn outreach sequences
  • Make 100 cold calls per day
  • Conduct high-touch, manual follow-ups (email, phone, LinkedIn)
  • Keep the Hubspot CRM fully updated
  • Track activities using a daily scorecard
  • Attend daily huddles and weekly team sessions
  • Explore alternative channels (Facebook, Twitter)
  • Build awareness by engaging with communities (Quora, LinkedIn, blogs)
  • Participate in training with enthusiasm and a passion for learning

We're looking for someone who loves cold calling, enjoys the challenge of outreach, and thrives in a results-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (C1/C2 level in speaking and writing)
  • 1+ year of BDR or cold-calling experience
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Apollo.io, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must enjoy cold-calling and sales outreach
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable
  • A quiet home office setup with a desk and chair
  • Stable internet (minimum 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload)
  • Laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB free storage
  • Headset and smartphone
  • Backup internet option (hotspot, Multibam, etc.) and backup work location
  • Preferred: Experience in the outsourcing or staffing industry

Payment Structure

  • Base Pay: $3/hour (~$500/month)
  • Commission: $50 per qualified appointment
  • On-Target Earnings: Up to $1,500/month
