US Accounting Content Writer and Trainer

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Arrangement: Hybrid, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Hybrid role that involves writing and developing comprehensive training content ang training delivery.
  • Responsible for creating educational materials and training programs related to accounting practices and principles for North America regions which includes US and Canada.
  • Develop comprehensive training material for accounting roles covering general accounting, Tax, Auditing and Bookkeeping
  • Delivering training sessions on various US and CA accounting topics and assisting trainees with understanding complex accounting concepts and software.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content, transforming complex accounting concepts into accessible and informative material for our audience.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure factual accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our services and the accounting industry to create content that showcases our thought leadership.
  • Create training materials and conduct workshops to educate our content team on accounting principles, industry jargon, and best practices in writing for a financial audience.
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring that all content is produced on schedule and aligns with our marketing objectives.
  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools to optimize future content for engagement and lead generation.
  • Stay current with accounting industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in content creation to ensure our content remains relevant and authoritative.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement among the content team.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in US accounting or related field, along with experience in training or education.
  • Excellent grasp of the written language, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar, clarity, and the ability to explain complex accounting concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Solid understanding in Accounting(Bookkeeping), Taxation and Audit for US/CA companies.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • A portfolio showcasing writing samples, especially those related to accounting topics.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Content writer certification is a plus. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
