As a User Experience Designer at Sercante, you'll play a critical role in shaping intuitive and delightful experiences for our clients and their customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and iterate on solutions that solve complex problems while enhancing usability and accessibility. Your work will directly impact how users interact with digital tools and platforms, ensuring they achieve their goals effortlessly.
This is a new role at Sercante, and a successful User Experience Designer will help educate the broader team about the importance of strong, intentional UX and demonstrate value to drive new sales in this area.
A Day-in-the-Life:
Understanding User Needs:
Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Analyze data to uncover insights and map user journeys.
Designing Solutions:
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with project goals.
Develop design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across platforms.
Collaborating Across Teams:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives.
Present and communicate design ideas clearly to team members and clients.
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to refine designs.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging tools to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Support UX on active projects
Applying UX best practices to in-flight projects or recently built solutions
Audit UX for existing customers on retainer or ongoing support contracts
Drive demand for UX services
Create and refine packaging for UX centric audits
Support pre-sales scoping for UX workstreams on complex projects
Build internal awareness about the value and role of UX
Who We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in user experience design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proven ability to create user-centered designs for web and mobile platforms.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development concepts.
Understanding of Salesforce and the Lightning design system.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
Exceptional ability to visualize and communicate design concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on usability and functionality.
Comfortable balancing user needs with business goals.
Bonus points for Salesforce certifications, including Admin, Strategy Designer, and/or User Experience Designer
