Program Analyst (Junior) Directorate General Program Support

Overview of the Position: The Program Analyst (Junior) provides comprehensive daily support to senior leadership and component divisions. This role involves managing resources, responding to logistical and administrative support requests, and supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management and policy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative and logistical support including support services, personnel management, and maintenance of support records.
  • Manage directorate resources and respond to requests for conference rooms, teleconference lines, administrative products, official correspondence, and related support.
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and preparation for meetings, symposiums, conferences, and related engagements, including office management and support for executive travel.
  • Process FMS cases ready for offer to FMS partners in DSAMS for the CPD and produce and distribute associated reports and summaries.
  • Employ DSAMS, SCIP, and related information management systems to support FMS case development and management efforts.
  • Support the development and maintenance of analytic products, including country summary papers, engagement sheets, information papers, and briefs.
  • Support customer engagements, presentations, and client meetings as required.
  • Assist the Directorate’s Administrative Analyst in their duties as required.
  • Interface daily with stakeholders to support the completion of specific tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.

Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of FMS processes and information management systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for daily interaction with high-level officials.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Relevant experience in administrative support, office management, or a related area.
  • Experience working with senior officials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and maintain effective coordination with DoN and DoD offices.
  • SECRET security clearance
  • US Citizenship is required, and all other eligible parties can apply.
