Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact
Perform Environmental Risk Assessments and related studies; all roles require analysis of technical results and report writing.
Conduct SME reviews on environmental data, reports, or scopes of work
Prepare environmental assessment reports, specifically as they relate to impact assessment and nuclear safety and licensing
Work alongside customers to track overall initiative progress and communicate with stakeholders and leadership
Provide OPEX and industry best practices and insights to projects
Develop technical methodologies and estimates for client proposals. It is expected that the candidate is able to contribute to the development of proposals and other business-related functions.
Conduct project team planning such that there is successful integration
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology) or Engineering (Environmental).
Ability to integrate technical inputs from various sources across multiple disciplines into cohesive technical assessments.
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in:
Environmental risk assessment
Environmental characterization
Environmental modeling
Impact assessment/environmental assessments
10-15 years of technical experience in industry or government. Experience in a highly regulated industry is considered an asset. Prior nuclear industry experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Canadian nuclear regulatory requirements and environmental regulations is an asset.
