Associate Dentist – Cimmaron Dental Wellness (Okotoks, AB)

Practice Overview

Cimmaron Dental Wellness is a well-respected, full-scope family practice located in the heart of Okotoks, AB—a growing town just south of Calgary known for its sense of community and quality of life. We are currently recruiting a skilled and adaptable Associate Dentist to join our cohesive clinical team effective July 2025.

This is a rare opportunity to step into an established schedule within a modern practice that prioritizes patient relationships, professional autonomy, and clinical excellence. For the right individual, there is also a long-term path toward expanded leadership and future partnership consideration.

Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or optional evening shift) One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Schedule can be condensed to enhance chair productivity and reduce downtime. Option to expand to full-time by combining with a nearby practice.

Clinical Focus & Expansion Opportunities

This role is well-suited for a general dentist who enjoys a diverse scope of care and is motivated to build long-term patient relationships in a community setting.

Current Service Offerings: Preventative & Restorative Dentistry, Basic Oral Surgery, Basic Endodontics, Fixed Prosthodontics (Crowns & Bridges)

Opportunities to Reduce Referrals: Advanced Endodontics, Surgical Extractions / Third Molars, Implant Placement & Restoration, Invisalign, Expanded Cosmetic & Restorative Work

Our ideal candidate:

  • A confident and self-directed clinician with 1–3+ years of experience
  • Personable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a collaborative setting
  • Open to flexible scheduling, including evenings and occasional weekends
  • Strong communicator with an interest in building long-term patient rapport
  • Community-minded and open to practicing in a smaller centre
  • New graduates with strong fundamentals and a commitment to learning will be considered if they demonstrate long-term interest and clinical maturity.

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
