Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage the accounting team, prepare financial statements, conduct account reconciliations, monitor accounts payable/receivable, input in budgeting and forecasting, analyze financial data ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing financial reporting to senior management.
Responsibilities
Oversee department operations, prioritizing and planning workload
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring GAAP compliance
Manage financial processes: general ledger, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, inventory management, payroll, and budgeting
Deliver financial insights and reports to senior management
Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk
Optimize accounting systems and processes for efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support
Assist in staff hiring, evaluation, and goal setting with management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or higher)
3+ years of supervisory experience
Mastery of GAAP and B2B accounting standards
ERP and MS Office proficiency
A passion for mentoring and process innovation
