Job description

Join a growing distribution company’s accounting team as a Senior Accountant, supporting accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end close processes. This role involves reconciling financial data, managing customer and vendor communications, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis, with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

Process and analyze sales data for accuracy, accruals, and revenue recognition.
Manage accounts receivable, including customer communications, payment posting, and collections.
Support accounts payable by reviewing invoice processing and GL coding.
Assist with monthly financial close, including journal entries and closing checklists.
Prepare financial, statistical, and audit reports (e.g., cash receipts, expenditures, profits/losses).
Oversee capital expenditure processes and monthly fixed asset reconciliation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and shipping.
Assist with budget preparation and financial analysis.
