About The Role
You will support Current’s growth through corporate finance, contributing to corporate reporting, planning and forecasting, customizing state of the art planning tools, designing templated dashboards, and monitoring KPIs to drive business performance. You’ll communicate your findings to senior leadership and business executives to support the company’s financial health and growth. You will push the bounds of our data richness and stability by partnering with our data team and accounting team to validate datasets from disparate structured and unstructured sources. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis, combined with financial modeling skills and an understanding of the key growth drivers of the business. Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly financial reports, operational metrics, related dashboards, and risk reporting
Enhance and maintain KPI reporting to track company performance and analyze drivers of revenue, cost structure, and expenses
Collaborate with various members of the finance team to analyze financial statements, historical and projected trends, operational and financial metrics, KPIs, forecasts, and other relevant factors
Support the development of an effective and highly automated FP&A infrastructure system for planning, financial modelling, data management, data analytics, and reporting
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, and communicate with key stakeholders through presentations and reporting
Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure financial reporting complies with accounting standards and regulations
About You
2+ years in FP&A, consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, or strategic finance
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and/or relevant experience
Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles
Experience with financial modeling in a corporate finance environment
Excel expert – experience with B.I. tools (Looker) and Workday Adaptive is a plus
Strong data analytical ability
Work well in a fast-paced environment – our product is growing exponentially and we need to be able to keep up with it
Communicate effectively and concisely with other members of the finance team and various stakeholders
Knowledge and curiosity about financial technology
This role has a base salary range of $95,000 - $121,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process. Current offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
