Our client, a leading financial firm based in Manhattan, NY, is seeking a Financial Accounting Associate. This role supports management and the broader finance team in preparing and presenting financial reports, improving workflows, and driving system automation and other special projects. Job Function

Prepare journal entries and reports in compliance with US GAAP.
Perform intercompany eliminations and create consolidated financial statements.
Support internal controls to ensure best practices and meet audit/examiner expectations.
Participate in ad-hoc finance projects.
Stay updated on financial reporting requirements and propose solutions for changes.
Address emerging issues on an ad-hoc basis.
Provide guidance on financial practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
2 - 6 years of experience in financial reporting or related fields.
Professional certification, such as CPA, preferred.
