In this job, you will play a key role in developing and implementing program strategy across our portfolio of programs. This includes leading strategic planning analyses and processes, managing strategic external engagement, and conducting market research across our portfolio and/or for specific program areas, such as Building Electrification, Energy Efficiency, Transportation Electrification, Demand Response, and Demand Flexibility. You will be part of the Portfolio Planning & Integration team, reporting to the Senior Manager. This group has high visibility to Executive Management within Customer Solutions. You will meet regularly with high-level managers, Directors, and external parties to develop, launch, and manage strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
Supports the development of critical regulatory and legislative initiatives to facilitate the execution of the strategic plan
Identifies system risks and evaluates risk reduction benefits of proposed mitigation strategy projects in the capital investment strategy
Leads the development and management of Protection and Control Asset strategies for programmatic investment decisions
Evaluates SCE's enterprise level risks and provides suitable mitigation options to senior management
Provides strategic and regulatory analysis for the company, specifically including competitive positioning, price forecasting, financial analytics, and regulatory planning scenario evaluations
Provides analyses, evaluation and management recommendations on key strategic initiatives
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Ten or more years of experience in strategic planning, setting strategies at the department or organization level.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, Economics, Environmental Studies, Policy or other related discipline
Demonstrated experience conducting market research and developing strategy.
Demonstrated end-to-end project management experience, including scoping and execution.
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences at different levels.
Experience in Energy, Demand Response, Energy Efficiency, Transportation Electrification, Building Electrification, Demand Flexibility, Customer Generation, or Income Qualified programs a plus.
Experience working at or engaging with utilities or government agencies.
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
