Reporting Location: Work From Home

Travel Required: up to 75% (both domestic and international)

Role Overview

The HVAC Director of Distribution Sales will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy and execution for our HVAC product lines within the HVAC trade sector. This position is responsible for overseeing the West distribution sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. The director will analyze market trends and customer needs to develop innovative sales strategies that enhance our competitive edge. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. Ultimately, the success of this position will be measured by increased market share, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction in the HVAC distribution sector.

Key Role Focuses

  • Lead and manage the West distribution sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales initiatives.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Computer software programs proficiency including MS Office (Word, Excel) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and execute business processes.
  • Personnel management skills and experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to establish, build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
  • Positive attitude and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with a variety of training delivery methods and training development.
  • Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames with minimal supervision.
