Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Sales – APAC to lead and expand our sales efforts across the Asia-Pacific region, with a primary focus on hardware OEMs and enterprise customers in key Asian markets. Based in Taiwan, this leadership role is critical in shaping and executing our regional sales strategy in the fast-growing Edge AI space. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical understanding, exceptional sales leadership, and a proven ability to build strategic customer and partner relationships in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute APAC Sales Strategy
    Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy across APAC, tailored to the region's diverse hardware OEM ecosystems and enterprise demands. Prioritize market expansion, revenue growth, and long-term customer value.

  • Drive Regional Revenue and Market Penetration
    Own APAC sales performance, with accountability for meeting and exceeding revenue goals. Develop a robust sales pipeline, identify new opportunities, and execute go-to-market initiatives that capture share in target verticals.

  • Manage Strategic OEM and Enterprise Accounts
    Establish, nurture, and grow relationships with key hardware OEMs and high-value customers. Understand their technical and business requirements to deliver scalable Edge AI solutions that drive customer success.

  • Build Strategic Partnerships
    Identify and engage with regional technology and channel partners to extend market reach and strengthen solution delivery. Lead joint business development efforts and cultivate long-term strategic alliances.

  • Lead Regional Sales Operations
    Recruit, develop, and manage local sales talent where needed. Align team efforts with company objectives, ensuring high performance, accountability, and collaboration across geographies.

  • Leverage Technical Expertise in Edge AI
    Utilize a strong technical foundation in Edge AI and computer vision to effectively communicate product value to both technical and business audiences. Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Work closely with global product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure feedback loops, strategic alignment, and market-ready positioning of our solutions.

  • Regional Travel and Market Engagement
    Travel extensively across key APAC markets to build customer relationships, represent the company at industry events, and stay attuned to local trends and business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales or business development in high-tech markets, ideally focused on Edge AI, computer vision, or embedded systems.

  • Strong experience working with hardware OEMs and technology partners in Asia.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional sales strategies and consistently achieving revenue goals.

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and long-term customer relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Fluency in English; Mandarin or other Asian language skills are a plus.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the APAC region.

Location
This is a remote role based in Taiwan, with frequent travel across key Asian markets. Proximity to major hardware OEMs and enterprise customers is essential.
