About our Team:

You'll be joining our Architecture team, reporting to the Chief Technology Architect and working side-by-side with Enterprise Architects to develop practical, future-proof technological solutions. The Architecture team sits within our Strategy, Governance, and Innovation group, which is responsible for crafting Sage's technical future. We work at the intersection of business strategy and technical implementation, designing solutions that drive innovation across the company.

Could you be our new Solutions Architect? Are you?

  • Experienced in solution architecture or related roles, with a track record of designing and implementing effective solutions?
  • Proficient in at least one major technology stack, preferably Microsoft, with exposure to and understanding of others?
  • Familiar with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including knowledge of security, compliance, and governance aspects?
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving professional, with the ability to break down business problems into technical components?
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a remote environment?
  • An excellent communicator who can explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences?
  • Experienced contributing to projects that span multiple teams or departments?
  • Someone who is well-versed in current industry trends and new technologies?

Your new role:

As Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for designing strategic technical solutions that drive business value and innovation, contributing to the long-term evolution of Sage's technology landscape. You'll bridge business strategy and technical implementation by architecting integrated solutions that emphasize scalability, interoperability, security, and stability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and lead strategic technical solutions that translate business requirements into scalable, integrated architectures aligned with Sage's technological vision
  • Drive collaboration with business partners, delivery teams, and Architecture colleagues globally, including attendance at in-person project meetings and international travel to overseas office locations
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to delivery teams and technology colleagues, promoting alignment with architectural principles in solution adoption
  • Explore and champion the strategic adoption of AI technologies, evaluating opportunities to drive innovation across Sage
  • Proactively identify technical debt within existing solutions while staying informed about new technologies
  • Engage with architectural review processes, ensuring all solutions align with enterprise standards and long-term technical strategy
