We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Compensation Expense Planning Specialist to be responsible for managing firm-wide compensation expense processes such as budget/forecasting, long-term incentive accruals, regulatory models/reporting, compensation modeling and reporting for senior management and committee/Board level meetings.

What You'll Do In The Role
- Compensation expense planning/forecasting
- Liaise with the Financial Planning & Analysis teams to facilitate compensation expense forecasting and reporting for firm senior management
- CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) regulatory process that is run on a quarterly basis, including refreshing inputs in the expense model, reviewing results, and recording output in the finance reporting system.
- Manage deferral structures in partnership with the Executive Pay Design team, seeking to ensure new plans are calculating correctly in the compensation system, as well as working with the Rewards & Analytics teams to review accuracy of all deferrals in the monthly accrual process.
- Preparation of other ad hoc compensation related modeling and analytics to create senior management exhibits & presentations, often central to making critical business decisions
- Collaboration with various partners, including Finance, Payroll, Executive Compensation, and Business-specific and firmwide Compensation Teams
What You'll Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of professional related work experience; prior experience in financial analysis/reporting or compensation strongly preferred.
- Ability to develop analytics from multiple streams of data, interpret & analyze trends, develop meaningful story/recommendation and communicate the information in a logical concise way.
- Strong process and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, re-prioritize as needed, problem-solve autonomously and a proclivity to approach projects with interest in learning new concepts and building on institutional knowledge.
- Must have superior attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey ideas clearly & concisely.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to Microsoft Access preferred
- Enjoy high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
