Description

The Department of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary is seeking Sessional Instructors to teach the following courses in Winter 2026 (January 1 - April 30, 2026).

Courses

  • ENEL 503 Computer Vision
    • Lec: Tue/Thur 11:00-12:15pm; Lab: Tue 2:00-3:50pm
  • ENEL 672 Power Electronics for Renewable Energy
    • Lec: Tue/Thur 9:30-10:45am
  • ENEL 676 Distributed Energy Resources
    • Lec: Tue/Thur 8:00-9:15am
The successful candidate will be expected to have earned at least a master's degree in electrical, Computer or Software engineering and must have a demonstrated background in the subject matter related to this course. The successful candidate must also have very good previous teaching performance or show the potential for very good to excellent teaching ability. It is strongly desired that the candidate is registered as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian Province.
