Our summer camps feature a unique offering of programs, much like university for kids, where children learn a speciality sport or skill with expert coaches. Our programs explore a unique opportunity for skill, character and leadership development, in a fast paced and fun environment.
The successful instructor candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive Francophone camp (educational) programs for campers and students. This is a unique position for successful candidates.
The camp's three main pillars are Sports, STEM, and Eco-Sustainability. TAC Group is is looking forward to working with both international and local candidates in an incredible summer experience celebrating skill acquisition and excellence in French.
Responsibilities
Learn and teach various curriculums in French, including sports, science, math, engineering, biology and eco-sustainability .
Develop and implement exciting and engaging French language lessons and activities.
Monitor individual success and excellence and engage youth in development and leadership.
Communicate with other coaches and parents, offer excellent customer service to families, help with setup at the beginning of the program, and clean up at the end of the day.
Upholding the TAC Sports SafeChild Initiative includes tracking maintaining medical notes, allergies, attendance, sign-in, sign-out and our Facilities maintenance program.
Qualifications
Francophone, native or near-native fluency in French to a high degree.
Prior experience and a passion for working with young children
Background in art, athletics, science or ecology preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Interest in following the school’s mission and philosophy.
Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
CPR and First aid qualifications or willingness to train.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid Work VISA or Work permit
Job Type: Fixed term contract Contract length: 10 Weeks June 19 - August 25
Salary: $600 to $1100 CAD Weekly
Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
