TAC - Francophone Program and Site Camp Coordinator

The TAC Group seeks Francophone, experienced, dynamic and passionate program and site coordinators to coordinate programming in French during its French Immersion and English summer day camps for campers ages four through twelve at the TFS-Canada's International School campus in Toronto, Ontario.

Our summer camps feature a unique offering of programs, much like university for kids, where children learn a speciality sport or skill with expert coaches. Our programs explore a unique opportunity for skill, character and leadership development, in a fast paced and fun environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive Francophone camp (educational) programs for campers and students. This is a unique position for successful candidates. The camp's three main pillars are Sports, STEM, and Eco-Sustainability.

TAC Group is looking forward to working with both international and local candidates in an incredible summer experience celebrating skill acquisition and excellence in French.

Responsibilities

• Build out and revise program sports, science and sustainability curriculums and lesson plan development in French.
• Monitor programs, coach success and excellence, and engage youth in development and leadership.
• Provide clear responsibilities and instructions to the program support staff and instructors.
• Control the implementation of the overall weekly lesson plan for the camp activities and provide feedback to instructors.
• Uphold the TAC Sports SafeChild Initiative including tracking and maintaining medical notes, allergies, attendance, sign-in, sign-out and our Facilities maintenance program.
  
  

Qualifications

• Francophone, fluent in French to a high degree.
• University or Post-Grad degree preferred.
• Prior experience and a passion for working with young children.
• Background in science, technology, and athletics preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Interest in following the school’s mission and philosophy.
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• CPR and First aid qualifications or willingness to train.
  
  

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 10 Weeks (June 19 - August 25)

Salary: $800 to $1000 CAD Weekly
