Job description

This job is suited to someone who enjoys being active and delivering great customer service and paying attention to detail. Responsibilities of this role include maintaining stock in the warehouse, picking orders, delivering products to customers in an effective and timely manner and completing the associated documents. Drive company vehicles and operate pedestrian forklift. You will occasionally be required to collect stock from suppliers. You will be part of a small, friendly team where you will be treated respectfully by the staff and owners.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing orders
Receive and check incoming stock and warehouse accordingly
To undertake all duties in a safe responsible and courteous manner
Practice safe and correct manual handling technique
Correctly complete delivery documents as per company procedures
Deliver products to customers as per invoice requirements
Obtain and be responsible for payment from customers

Key Competencies, Skills And Qualifications

Previous experience and understanding of warehouse and delivery operations preferably in the hospitality industry
Must have a strong understanding of workplace safety requirements
Customer focused and good at building interpersonal relationships
Good communication, time and organizational skills
Must be able to competently read and write English
Appreciate, understand and deliver the professional image a driver represents
Well presented
Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude
Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
High level of attention to detail
Ability to learn a broad range of products quickly
Manual Drivers Licence with a clear record
