Job Title: Data Center Technician - Technical IT 1
Location: Sterling, VA - onsite
Duration: 18 Months on W2
Pay Range: $21 - $24/hour
What's the Job?
Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance.
Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating the program.
Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports.
Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission and follow procedures for equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting.
What's Needed?
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays.
Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training preferred.
