Our client seeks a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Design

Based in West Perth, you will be working with an integrated team of designers preparing technical documents and design mechanical items that adhere to the relevant Standards and Codes.

Key Capabilities

  • Design of items including structures, mechanical plant and pipework with safety, plant life cycle, economic factors, and relevant Standards and Codes in mind
  • Mechanical equipment research.
  • Drafting of site layouts, mechanical and structural components, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Provide technical information to aid with the preparation of Datasheets.
  • Technical and engineering support for in-house and sub-contracting drafters.
  • Work with project stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support.

About you:

To be considered for this role it is imperative you have the following:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
  • Experience with AutoCad
  • Australian C class drivers licence
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to details with the ability to think analytically and show initiative.
  • Minimum three (3) years engineering experience, ideally in the mineral processing industry, ideally Gold
  • Thorough understanding of fluid and solid mechanics

You will not be considered if you don’t have full Australian work rights and reside in Perth, we do not offer sponsorship nor relocation for this role.
