Job description

The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for teacher recruitment, with a focus on "grow your own", student, clinical, resident, and adjunct teacher pipelines. The Manager will also oversee all district educator job fairs, ensuring effective promotion, organization, and candidate engagement.

  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives for teacher recruitment, with a focus on cultivating "grow your own," student, clinical, resident, and adjunct teacher pipelines.
  • Direct and supervise all district educator job fairs, ensuring effective promotion, meticulous organization, and robust candidate engagement.
  • Collaborate with teacher preparation programs and universities to cultivate strong relationships and establish recruitment pipelines.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified teachers. Screen candidate applications, conduct interviews, and assess qualifications to identify the best candidates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate information sessions to promote teaching opportunities within the district.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations to expand the reach of recruitment efforts.
  • Develop marketing materials and utilize various platforms to advertise teaching positions and recruitment events.
  • Work closely with school principals and district leadership to align recruitment efforts with staffing needs.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification, as appropriate.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a directly related field.
  • Two to three years of indirect or direct leadership experience.
  • Project Management: Manage recruitment projects efficiently, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, articulating the district's vision and values.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with partners like universities and community organizations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze recruitment data to evaluate strategy effectiveness and inform decisions.
  • Travel: Ability to travel semi-frequently.
