Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Director, Creative Brand to join our team! The Director, Creative Brand, is responsible for developing and executing a cohesive brand strategy across all channels, ensuring consistent brand representation both internally and externally. This role leads brand storytelling, visual identity, and creative direction, overseeing all aspects of brand expression to drive member engagement, enhance brand reputation, and support organizational goals. The Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand integrity and alignment with the credit union's mission, values, and strategic objectives.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Defining and evolving the brand’s vision, voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms, both internally and externally.
  • Leading and approving the creation of high-quality, on-brand content, including design, video, digital assets, and copy.
  • Providing strategic creative direction to internal teams and external partners, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Owning and managing public relations initiatives such as press releases, industry events, and media opportunities to boost visibility.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to produce impactful marketing collateral that supports campaigns and organizational goals.
  • Ensuring front-line communications reflect a cohesive brand voice through collaboration with departments and stakeholders.
  • Tracking performance metrics and industry trends to inform innovation and maintain brand relevance.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Regularly meeting with each team member to coach and mentor to ensure alignment around FFCU’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Providing team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs.
  • Holding teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements, ensuring the team’s work is accurate/efficient, and providing coaching, feedback, or training as needed.  
  • Providing and ensuring development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union.
  • Leading change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels.
  • Assisting the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Seven years of experience in brand management, creative direction, public relations, or marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing/supervising employees.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful brand strategies across multiple channels.
  • Financial services or credit union experience required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
