Job description

Role: Salesforce Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12 Months+
Work Hours: US Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM countries)

Skills:

Service Cloud Experience if not good LWC and UI skills
Experience creating LWC (building and customizing LWC). Custom in a way that is HTML not base LWC.
APEX – backend logic expertise
Declarative programing – admin approvals and configuration
Will be doing 50/50 development and declarative programming.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the technical design, development and implementation of custom CRM applications in an agile environment
Develop solutions within the Salesforce platform primarily using declarative tools and custom development as needed to build the application based on the client requirements
Communicate any Salesforce restrictions and platform enhancements to the team
Develop integration solutions using SOAP/REST APIs, web services, XML, JSON
Perform unit testing and implement bug/defect fixes
Deploy scheduled builds via established platform specific tools (ANT, change sets etc.)
Convert data from existing application into the new Salesforce application being developed
Showcase completed features to the development team
Participate in code review
Interact with other Technology teams throughout the application lifecycle

Required Skill Set:

At least 5 years of proven application development experience using the following but not limited to:

- Creating, building, and customizing LWC HTML based
- Lightning Components
- Salesforce Admin Skills (Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Groups, Queues)
- Salesforce Automation Tools
- Apex (classes, triggers)

At least 2-3 years of experience in designing and developing Integration Solutions using Web Service APIs, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON.
Experience with Agile/Scrum
Strong unit testing and attention to detail?
Resourceful and creative in coming up with solutions as a result of Salesforce limitations

Salesforce Interivew Requirements:

Here are the pre-requisites:

- should be prepared to pull/clone a repo from a public repo in github
- should be prepared to generate a scratch org (manually or run a powershell script) OR connect the repo to their own dev sandbox
- should have VS code on the machine.

Note: If there's issues with the setup, we will ask the candidate to connect to a pre-created scratch org and the candidate should know how to connect to that scratch org.
We will give requirements on the call to work on.
Before starting the hands on, the candidate should share the entire desktop
We will ask the candidate to show task manager/activity monitor to verify that no suspicious apps are running.
Candidate is allowed to google, look at documentation, or copy/paste from old code during the exercise.
