Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Maintain vehicles and other tools in functional conditions by listening to operator complaints; conduct inspections and repairs when necessary
General repair and maintenance of facility equipment on a regular basis
Ensure that the warehouse is clean, safe, secure, and organized at all times
Use forklifts and other machinery when needed
Ensure that all vehicles and machinery are up-to-date with government regulations
Regular preventive maintenance of items, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters
Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions; replace parts and components; repair body damage on truck and forklifts
Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs
Responds to emergency situations as required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Requirements

Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques used in the warehouse
Good communication and personal skills
Previous warehouse/mechanical experience preferred
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to solve problems in independent and team setting
Safety commitment
Basic computer knowledge
Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred
