About the role - you will:

 

This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various engineering topics while contributing to the overall success of Seagate Lyve Cloud. You will get exposure to a dynamic and supportive work environment. As an Software Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our Engineering and Architecture team to implement and design new features. Next to this, it is a fantastic chance to build your network within the company.

We will also assign you a mentor for the duration of the internship so you can easily acclimatize into the Company and provide you ongoing support as you work on your dedicated projects.

  • Learn engineering processes of operating in Lyve Cloud organization.

  • Collaborate cross functional teams such as IT, Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and assist projects are completed on time and within scope.

  • Learn to identify root-causes for bugs, performance inefficiency and fix of such
Assist in documenting and researching industry Best Practices and process for recommendations

About you:

  • Fluency in English language is required; other European languages are a plus

  • You are not looking for a "thesis internship".

This internship is full-time (40 hours per week) as remote in United Kingdom, for a duration of 3 months.

You will travel to our data centre, meet with clients, as and when needed, and will receive an internship allowance and Commuting Allowance, if you do not have a student public transport card.
