Summary: 

A Senior Director, Paid Search Marketer’s primary responsibilities are to oversee all aspects of paid search campaigns, including strategy development, execution, optimization, and performance analysis. They are responsible for driving revenue and achieving business goals through effective paid search campaigns. This role often involves managing a team of paid search specialists, collaborating with internal teams, and staying current with industry trends and best practices. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys digging into data, and is constantly looking for ways to drive performance improvements and scale campaigns efficiently.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The anticipated annual salary for individuals interested in this position is $130,000 - $170,000 annually. Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on work experience, education and/or skill levels.

Requirements

 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing paid search strategies, including keyword research, ad copy optimization, and campaign structure across Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms
  • Managing paid search budgets and ensuring optimal allocation of resources. 
  • Perform deep analysis of campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement, implement data-driven optimizations, and present insights to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, analytics, product, and sales teams to align on key priorities and deliverables
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PPC strategies that align with business goals
  • Drive ongoing A/B testing across ad copy, landing pages, audiences, and bidding strategies
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve
  • Manage large-scale budgets with a strong focus on efficiency and ROI
  • Build and maintain clear reporting frameworks to track KPIs such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and LTV

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in paid search marketing  (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads), with a proven track record of performance growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced knowledge in Excel/Google Sheets, and familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g.Looker)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients. 
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of paid search specialists. 
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and best practices. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively identify growth opportunities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, data-driven, and collaborative environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in lead generation 
  • Familiarity with SEO, display, or paid social to support integrated campaigns
  • Google Ads or other relevant certifications
