The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing embedded software for various microcontrollers and microprocessors. They will work closely with other members of the development team to deliver high-quality software on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test embedded software using C language for various microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and software engineers to design, implement, and debug embedded systems
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
  • Write technical documentation such as specifications, test plans, and user manuals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in embedded systems development
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in the embedded systems

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in embedded systems development
  • Proficient in C language
  • Strong understanding of microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Experience with embedded software development tools such as debuggers, emulators, and compilers
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or ThreadX
  • Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL
  • Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
