At AI for Education, our mission is to provide AI literacy training to 1 million educators and lead the responsible adoption of Generative AI in the education ecosystem, empowering teachers and ultimately improving student outcomes while preparing them for the future. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a multi-talented graphic and web designer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality AI literacy programs and training initiatives.

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile and creative Designer to join our growing team in a full-time, remote capacity. Reporting to the CMO and collaborating with content, facilitation, and sales, this role will be responsible for all manner of design across brand, email, social media, website, video, training content, and other digital marketing channels and sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, comfortable working across multiple design disciplines, and excited about supporting our mission of transforming education through AI literacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design engaging visual content for courses, training materials, and educational resources (guidebooks, one-pagers, infographics, etc.)
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines and design systems, ensuring consistent brand application across all properties
• Create graphics for social media campaigns and digital marketing initiatives
• Develop email templates including compelling newsletters to engage our educator community
• Produce sales collateral including one-pagers, conference and presentation materials
• Update and maintain company website pages, including design and develop landing pages for webinars, programs, and marketing campaigns
• Optimize web designs for user experience and conversion
• Perform basic video editing including packaging webinar content or course videos
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines and design systems, ensuring consistent brand application across all properties

Required Experience and Skills

• 3+ years of experience in graphic and web design
• Proficiency with various creative and design tools - in particular working in Canva Pro as the baseline creative suite employed by our team across disciplines
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design best practices
• Basic video editing skills 
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across design disciplines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in education or education technology design 
• Experience with email marketing platforms; Knowledge of ActiveCampaign a plus
• Understanding of UX/UI principles
• Strong understanding of branding and modern content marketing

Salary range

$80,000 - $95,000 per year
