PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide administrative support to Dean, other leaders, and staff.
Essential Job Functions
Serve as the primary point of contact and provide administrative support for the Dean and the department.
Interfaces daily with students, administrators, various departments, visitors, staff, and faculty.
Collect, submit, and maintain data and reports needed for the department.
Maintain the Dean’s calendar, schedule and coordinate meetings, special events, and room reservations for the department.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as needed, as well as assist with purchasing supplies for special events and special projects within the department.
Prepares and processes requisitions and invoices in Banner.
Maintains budget spreadsheets and reports for the department.
Performs general office duties such as: type letters, memos, spreadsheets, and reports for the department.
Processes P-card statements and maintains P-card records and expenditures for the department.
Coordinates travel arrangements, hotel, and parking reimbursements.
Additional Job Functions
Complete assigned required training.
Provide support to new employees within the department during the onboarding experience (i.e. create EPAFs, network access, key request, and employee inventory)
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must project a professional image, have excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
Must be extremely accurate and have excellent proofreading, grammar and spelling skills
Must be able to work in a team environment, be flexible with good public relations skills, work well with details and deadlines, balance multiple tasks, analyze and solve problems and work independently in a fast-paced office environment
Ability to use platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and learn new software if needed to support office functions
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
Above requirement plus one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school
Required Experience
Three years of office, clerical or administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
Preferred Experience
Above requirement including one or more years in a higher education environment
