About the Role
As Campaign Associate for Portugal, you’ll help launch campaigns that touch hearts, shift narratives, and drive action. You’ll identify breaking opportunities, craft emotionally resonant messaging, and collaborate with a global team of campaigners to defend life, family, and freedom.
You’ll also manage supporter communications, draft campaign emails, and assist in organizing both online and offline actions. Whether launching a petition or helping coordinate a protest, you’ll help ensure that our voice—and our values—are impossible to ignore.

What You'll Do
- You will monitor national and global news for campaign opportunities.
- You will draft, edit, and proofread campaign emails and supporter updates.
- You will use AI tools to enhance written materials for campaigns.
- You will gather and synthesize media and NGO resources for campaign support.
- You will communicate with CitizenGO supporters about campaign progress and goals.
- You will translate global campaign content into Portuguese for the local audience.
- You will coordinate with the global campaigns team to deliver actions in Portugal.
- You will help plan and support offline campaign events, handling logistics when needed.
- You will engage in public speaking and manage media coverage.
- You will build and maintain relationships with influencers and journalists across platforms.
Who you are
- You have native-level fluency in Portuguese.
- You are currently based in Portugal.
- You have a passion for defending life, family, and freedom.
- You can write with emotional resonance and persuasive clarity.
- You understand grassroots campaigning and digital mobilization.
- You are experienced with Google Workspace and comfortable learning new tools.
- You are professional, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- You show initiative and can manage your time to meet tight deadlines.
- You work well in a hierarchical, collaborative team structure.
- You are comfortable with evening or weekend work and occasional travel.
- You have experience with copywriting, digital marketing, or content creation (preferred).
- You are familiar with using AI tools for writing and communication.
- You have a background in journalism, editing, or campaigning (a plus).
- You understand our mission and are eager to help advance it in Portugal.
- You have at least a B2-level proficiency in English. (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, minimum score of 100). Spanish and other languages are a plus.
