Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Director who will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities within the Account directly supporting the Vice President’s daily operational tasks and requirements. Responsible for directly ensuring execution and implementation of efficient Account operations and cost-effective policies to meet the current and future needs of SAIC’s market needs. This influential leader will manage a program team of support staff and Program Managers dedicated to the success of Mission Owners across the Navy and DoD stakeholders. This key position will help develop and execute on the operational road map needed to meet the Market and Account’s long-term growth and sustainment goals. This role is located in San Diego, CA and must be local.

Job Duties

  • Work alongside Vice President to develop and implement scalable operational business growth programs, campaigns, processes, and best practices to support rapid account growth
  • Lead new program through training and onboarding to ensure an effective account portfolio team under the direction of the Vice President
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Directors, and PMO staff optimize studio performance, identify challenges, and drive continuous operational, P&L, and growth improvements.
  • Partner with Market and Account leadership to build and refine program and growth training programs, operational playbooks, and team performance eco-systems.
  • Maintain consistency in brand standards, customer experience, and operational excellence across all franchise locations.
  • Ensure the operations team is fully staffed with top performers and provide strong, consistent, and positive leadership by selecting, training, and developing talent to support the organization’s growth
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Vice President and Program Operations team, fostering strong relationships and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with Account and Market agreements, SAIC operational guidelines, and government regulations.
  • Work hand in hand with the Program Operations and support team, including BD business consultants and marketing.
  • Drive initiatives to improve profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall program operations performance.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more of related experience
  • 8+ years of operational leadership in a high volume (500+ employee), and fast pace Program Operational environment
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a TS/SCI clearance upon start
  • Strong financial expertise, including the ability to analyze P&Ls and drive business growth
  • Expertise with SAIC’s capture process and diverse contract experience at all levels of capture (e.g., writing, pricing, business development)
  • A naturally inspiring leader who motivates and supports program, customer, and internal SAIC partners
  • A collaborative problem-solver who excels in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Success in creating systems of all kinds (including technology) to support improved operations and growth
  • Ability to articulate and organize abstract thoughts and high-level tasking direction into tangible, clearly presented written artifacts and presentations (e.g, white papers, Pointpoint, Keynotes, Emails, Contracts etc.)
  • Experience leading and building great teams in growth-oriented program and execution organizations
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Confident in making strategic decisions alongside Vice President while continuously seeking improvement

Target salary range $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
