As a trusted advisor, this role provides comprehensive strategic support, enabling teams to understand market trends, improve efficiency, and achieve business objectives. The Sr. Demand Planning and Business Analyst also oversees demand planning initiatives and ensures seamless data integration and visualization, fostering a data-driven culture throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning
Lead demand planning efforts to forecast and manage product requirements accurately.
Conduct monthly demand forecast meetings with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain.
Analyze business trends and statistical data to refine forecasts and improve accuracy.
Address demand-related queries and issues promptly to minimize risks and disruptions.
Collaborate with system consultants to implement and optimize demand planning tools.
Serve as the business owner for demand planning systems, ensuring successful adoption and utilization.
Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
Develop and deploy data-driven solutions to solve complex business challenges.
Analyze trends and patterns in large datasets to provide actionable recommendations.
Design and implement workflows, standard operating procedures, and data models to enhance operational efficiency.
Drive system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements to maintain data reliability and relevance.
Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Excel to communicate insights effectively.
Train and empower business partners to leverage Business Intelligence tools for improved decision-making.
Act as an internal consultant for Sales and Marketing teams, offering strategic insights and innovative solutions.
System and Data Management
Manage data systems, including JDE, VIP, IDig, Price 2.0, TDLinx, and IRI, to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Lead Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to support seamless data visualization and reporting.
Partner with IT and external consultants to optimize system integrations and migrations.
Strategic Pricing and Financial Planning
Oversee pricing processes and develop strategic recommendations to optimize margins.
Perform pricing analyses, including Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) and revenue targets.
Lead quarterly and monthly business reviews to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, market research, or related field; strong statistical background preferred.
3+ years of experience in demand planning, business intelligence, or data analytics, preferably within CPG or wine/alcoholic beverages industries.
Expertise in data tools, including Power BI, Excel, SQL, Hyperion, and Smartview; experience with IRI and TDLinx is a plus.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with demand planning best practices and system implementations.
Hands-on experience with project management, tool migrations, and process optimization.
Commitment to fostering sustainability through efficient practices and resource management.

Environmental Conditions
The environment within the office is clean, well-lit and free from extremes of temperature and humidity. At times, individual will be required to go out-of-doors and into various parts of the winery subjecting the incumbent to variations in temperature and humidity.
