Your Role

The Stellarus team is responsible for providing product offerings to blue shield of California and other health plans. The product manager will report to the Vice President of Product Management. In this role you will advance product operations and collaborate with product directors to advance commercialization of product offerings, including defining the market, market competition, roadmap and business impact of the product offerings. In your role, you will serve as a resource to support multiple product offerings across the portfolio, including but not limited to pharmacy care reimagined, member experience, pay for value and the platform.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Mentor, create, and manage ongoing key personas development for product areas.
  • Exhibits natural and intuitive user empathy.
  • Mentor, determine, and analyze KPIs at a product level to establish experience success, failures, and next steps through iteration.
  • Conduct secondary market research and competitive analysis and apply toward product strategy.
  • Effectively organize and lead brainstorming sessions.
  • Analyze and implement operational frameworks to support the commercial product lifecycle
  • Communicate commercial product frameworks to internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate and develop, in partnership with the Sr. Directors, commercial product marketing assets to support improved understanding of the value of the product offerings.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Health, or Information Technology. Graduate degree (e.g. MBA) is highly preferred.
  • Requires 8 years of experience in Product Management, Management Consulting, or Entrepreneurship.
  • Requires mastery level knowledge of job area and deep product knowledge.
  • Requires commercial product and technology experience, defining new operations across the product development lifecycle.
  • Requires commercial product and technology experience, communicating value of products and services to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Requires experience successfully communicating across multiple stakeholders and cross functions.
  • Requires experience successfully communicating and defining milestones and managing towards those milestones in an organized product plan.
  • Certification in area of expertise preferred (e.g. PMP, Lean, SAFE, CSPO).

Two Ways of Working:

  • Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above).Exceptions:
  • Member-facing and approved out-of-state roles remain remote.
  • Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.
  • For employees with medical conditions that may impact their ability to work in-office, we are committed to engaging in an interactive process and providing reasonable accommodations to ensure their work environment is conducive to their success and well-being.
  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
