Motion Graphics Designer

Are you a motion designer who can bring energy, precision, and storytelling to a wide range of deliverables? Do you have creative flair, strong design skills, and the ability to create an engaging 'look and feel' across multiple touchpoints — from in-store digital screens and social animations to email campaigns? If the answer is yes, then this could be the role for you!

We have a great opportunity to join the creative team at a large studio supporting a global electronics brand. You’ll be responsible for the seamless delivery of production-ready creative executions across multiple channels, with a key focus on animation, email campaigns, and in-store activations. You’ll collaborate with designers, artworkers, account managers, and directly with clients to ensure all creative solutions meet the highest standards.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Role responsibilities

• Responsible for complete development of specific projects, from concept, through design, to creating media-ready creative across digital platforms.
• Creating/resizing highly engaging video and animations for multiple media, including in-store screens, web, and social media output.
• Creating digital assets for projects – i.e. video resizing, video exporting.
• Creating engaging email campaigns from design through to build, with a strong knowledge of email best practices and standards.
• Strong working knowledge of email automation platforms.
• Ability to support on digital and print projects, and other ad-hoc campaigns where required in the design team.
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Develop creative solutions to meet the client’s needs, in line with their overall marketing strategy, working with HH account teams and client marketing teams.
• Lead by example and share your knowledge and best practice experience with the wider design team.
• Follow the studio’s traffic management process to ensure best in class results are achieved.

What we need from you

• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC; After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent working knowledge of CRM email / MailChimp / XD / HTML.
• Intermediate knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Proven track record of creative motion design suitable for a premium retail environment to drive in-store engagement.
• Awareness of best practices on social media and email platforms, and ability to create engaging new ideas.
• Excellent creative and technical skills in motion and digital, strong attention to detail essential.
• Experienced in proofing text and can go beyond spell-check.
• Able to quickly pick-up a client’s brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency while creating innovative and strategic designs.
