Lazard’s technology group is seeking a Junior Solution Architect to play a key role in selecting, delivering, and reviewing high-quality, dependable, and efficient IT solutions. You will assist with design, develop, and integrate architectures across multiple transformation initiatives. This role requires analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment, with the ideal candidate being effective both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Assist in the optimization of the current software and application portfolio to better align with business capabilities.
  • Enhance and maintain the internal Lazard architecture workflow solution, utilizing AI to optimize programmatic design and review processes.
  • Assist in designing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to tech standards.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and reinforcement of enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and governance processes.
  • Offer expertise in major technology development environments, system architecture design, and large-scale systems integration.
  • Partner with, Infosec and Lazard Line of Business delivery teams to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Participate in the IT Enterprise Architecture team, aiding the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to promote compliance and facilitate decision-making; develop and maintain architecture standards and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and effective data architectures, promoting best practices in enterprise architecture.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of projects, maintaining rigorous standards of quality and adherence to enterprise guidelines.

You’ll need to have:

  • 3-5 years in data and analytics and cloud solution design, including direct involvement in significant data transformation projects.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies such as Azure, AWS, Oracle, TOGAF.
  • Hands-on skills in automation tools, enterprise data architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), ETL/ELT, AI/ML development, MLOps, and data privacy/security frameworks.
  • SME-level knowledge in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud) and technical skills across application, data, integration, and security design.
  • Experience integrating modern applications with legacy systems using advanced technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with enterprise development methodologies such as XP, Agile, DevSecOps, and DataOps.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and an aptitude for understanding user requirements and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence within the organization, fostering positive interactions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $90,000 – 130,000k USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
