Job description

Our client, an international investment bank, is seeking a Letter of Credit Specialist to support the daily processing and administration of standby and commercial letters of credit. This role will ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties to facilitate timely issuance, amendment, and closure of credit instruments. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the Manhattan, New York office.

Job Function

  • Process daily invoices received from corresponding banks and branches.
  • Prepare and send customer invoices for bank/branch fee requests.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding customer invoices.
  • Record standby and commercial letter of credit activity in ACBS.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date letter of credit files with all supporting documents.
  • Coordinate with the Reconciliation team on overdue items and reporting.
  • Provide daily updates to overseas branches and corresponding banks.


Job Requirements

  • 1 years of Letter of Credit Experience.
  • Must have experience working in a corporate bank.
