We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Archiving Consultant (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SAP data archiving solutions for our diverse range of clients. Your expertise will be crucial in helping our customers optimize their SAP system performance, reduce data volume, and ensure compliance with legal and business requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze client's existing SAP systems and data landscapes to identify archiving needs and opportunities.
- Design and develop robust SAP data archiving strategies and solutions using standard SAP archiving objects and methodologies.
- Configure and implement SAP archiving objects across various SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, HR).
- Perform archiving runs, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain archived data, ensuring accessibility and retrievability as per business and legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on SAP archiving best practices and data management strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for archiving processes and configurations.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of archiving solutions.
- Support clients during go-live, post-implementation, and ongoing operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP archiving technologies and trends.
Your Profile:
- Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as an SAP Archiving Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing SAP data archiving projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP archiving concepts, tools (e.g., SARA, DART), and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of various SAP modules and their underlying data structures.
- Experience with data retention policies and legal requirements related to data archiving.
- Fluent in English and one of these languages;
- German (C1/C2 level)
- French (B2 or higher)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), including ILM objects, policies, and retention management.
- Knowledge of SAP archiving on S/4HANA.
