Reporting into the Director, Program Management, and housed within Availity’s Program Management Office (PMO), the Project Manager will be at the forefront of transformative projects that will shape the future of healthcare. In this role, you’ll be leveraging your project management expertise and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results that will have a positive impact throughout our organization. The Project Manager will be leading groundbreaking technology projects while optimizing operational processes for a dedicated Line of Business.

To be qualified for this position you:
Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, information technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Have 3+ years of experience in project management
Have strong understanding of project management methodologies
Have proven track record of leading complex technology projects, from conception to execution, delivering tangible results
Have exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail
Have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Have experience facilitating large, cross-functional meetings including executives/C-suite stakeholders
You will set yourself apart with:
PMP Certification, Agile, Scrum, or other relevant business certifications
Experience structuring and building out the scaffolding for a growing PMO
Experience in the healthcare technology space
You will be:
Supporting a Line of Business as its dedicated project management resource
Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop innovative technology strategies and roadmaps to support business objectives
Leading cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution, delivery, and post implementation support
Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, fostering collaboration, and delivering exceptional internal support
Identifying potential risks and developing proactive mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes
Staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the healthcare industry, contributing insights and expertise to drive though leadership and innovation
Managing project budgets, monitoring project progress, and establishing deadlines
Providing status updates and presenting relevant information to the project team to include Senior/Executive Leadership
