EDC Programmer – Medidata Rave

The EDC Programmer role is a great opportunity to work within our sponsor dedicated department and have this unique relationship with a sponsor. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of solutions to global technical services issues and concerns regarding EDC tools like Medidata RAVE.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of clinical solutions for EDC tools (e.g., Medidata Rave) and SAS programming issues.

  • Proactively learn and support programming, setup, and maintenance of clinical/safety databases (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Inform) and SAS programming.

  • Assist with database design, EDC/SAS edit checks, listings, and reporting using tools like SAS, Cognos, Business Objects, and R.

  • Develop and maintain SAS programs for dataset creation, CRF annotations, and CDISC-compliant mapping specifications.

  • Import and transform external data into SAS or Excel for review and reconciliation purposes.

Your profile

  • University / college degree (life sciences, health sciences, information technology or related subjects preferred)

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

  • Relevant work experience to include data management and database support: EDC systems programming or SAS programming.

  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

  • Basic knowledge of clinical trial process and data management, biometrics, and systems applications to support operations preferred
