Job Description

The Claims Estimate & Repair Verification Advisor is responsible for ensuring consistency of estimating practices for, the Good Hands Repair Network repair facilities, and compliance to best practices. The individual conducts physical and/or virtual re-inspections and analyzes complex estimates prepared by Allstate or the Good Hands Repair Network shops.

Job description:

  • Makes corrections and repair recommendations
  • Completes physical re-inspections, ride-a longs, and/or desk reviews of adjuster and/or vendor repair estimates and other assigned claims to ensure adherence to estimating best practices and process and documentation compliance
  • Selects complex estimates for reinspection
  • Researches and responds to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
  • Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
  • Develops, manages and audits relationships with network vendors
  • Monitors network utilization and identifies potential need for expanded or new networks
  • Participates in calibration activities with the Claims organization
  • Collaborates with leadership regarding inspection or file review results
  • Provides information on reinspection results to ensure vendors, repair facilities, and technicians are following Allstate specific guidelines and procedures

Education

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.
