Job Description 
We’re hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Accountant who will lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and modeling—while also managing core accounting responsibilities such as month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting. This role is a unique opportunity to drive strategic decisions and support operational excellence. 
We prefer candidates who are local to Tampa or willing to relocate, and we offer relocation assistance. Remote candidates will be considered only if they are exceptionally qualified.
Responsibilities 
  • - Create and manage detailed financial and sales forecasts, budgets, and long-term models 
  • - Lead monthly and quarterly financial analysis; identify and explain key variances 
  • - Collaborate with department leaders on strategic planning and performance insights 
  • - Support accounting operations: journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations 
  • - Prepare executive-level reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and variance reports 
  • - Assist with cash flow forecasting, scenario modeling, and ad hoc projects 
  • - Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls 
  • - Coordinate with external partners for audits, tax filings, and reporting 
  
Qualifications 
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred) 
  • - 5+ years in a blended FP&A/accounting or corporate finance role 
  • - Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or BI platforms 
  • - Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting 
  • - Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills 
  • - Based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL (remote optional only for exceptional candidates)
