Position Title: X-Ray Systems Software Tester

Summary of Duties: Develops system and subsystem-level software test methods and protocols. Develops automation routines to aid testing, based on requirements. Configures hardware and software per requirements and protocols. Completes and submits all required design control documentation on time and accurately. Completes assigned training and development courses assigned by management team. Provides emergency on-call services as needed in partnership with Service and Support. Serves as a Representative for KMHA conventions and shows. Understands and complies with all FSE Guidelines as applicable to the role. Complies with KMHA Radiation Safety Policy including the timely replacement of used badges. 10% domestic travel. Hybrid Role – 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office in Garner, NC.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and five (5) years of experience with as a Systems Test Engineer, Software Engineer, System Verification Engineer, or related role, and five (5) years of experience with: System software testing in a regulated industry, such as medical devices; Testing reports; Programming languages, including C#, C++, and Python; Reading software code written by developers; DICOM and digital workflow, including RIS, Acquisition, and PACS; Hardware and network configurations for in-lab testing; Medical device systems and hardware design under design control, including X-Ray imaging technologies; Design control, including MDSAP and ISO13485; SW Design Standards, including IEC 62304; and FDA Standards for Medical Devices, including 510(k) submissions.
