We are seeking a forward-thinking Strategic Field Medical Excellence Manager to enhance the performance and strategic impact of field medical teams. This role plays a key part in enabling high-quality, data-informed engagement between medical teams and healthcare professionals by optimizing planning, execution, and performance management processes.
As part of the commercial excellence function, the Field Medical Excellence Manager partners closely with Medical Affairs and cross-functional stakeholders to design field strategies, monitor KPIs, and improve operational efficiency—all with the shared goal of serving patients more effectively.
Strategic Field Planning & Execution
Lead HCP segmentation and targeting strategies using advanced data tools such as Veeva Link, DPC, and DDD.
Oversee field sizing, resource planning, and territory alignment to support medical objectives.
Define and continuously improve performance indicators (e.g., call coverage, engagement frequency, impact metrics).
Field Operations & Data Oversight
Manage field interaction and targeting data using various platforms.
Provide timely, insightful performance reports and dashboards built with tools like Tableau to guide decision-making.
Support monthly business reviews and cross-functional alignment on field strategy.
Data-Driven Insights & Analytics
Partner with internal and external analytics teams to uncover drivers of field performance.
Deliver insights using statistical tools and programming languages such as SQL and Python.
Manage the analytics roadmap and develop new dashboards and reporting tools.
CRM & Digital Tool Optimization
Support CRM (e.g., Veeva CRM) customization, training, and adoption for field teams.
Liaise with internal teams and regional/global partners to improve system usability and functionality.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility to empower field performance.
2–3 years of experience in field analytics, CRM/data operations, or commercial effectiveness in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry—or relevant consulting experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using Tableau, SQL, and Python.
Experience working with CRM platforms, especially Veeva CRM.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry data sources such as JD-Net, IQVIA, and Ultmarc is a plus.
Business-level English communication and presentation skills.
